Let me tell you a story from Aesop's Fables

This one is about the North Wind and the Sun
They had a little quarrel and made a bet for fun
A traveler was walking down the street in a coat
The one that can remove his coat will be the winner, the GOAT
Who would prevail? Who would fail?
We can learn some lessons from this short little tale
It's actually like parenting a toddler I guess
When you're asking your son to change and get dressed
And you're praying that he gives you no stress and says yes
But he's got other plans and your patience he'll test
As the story goes, the North Wind blows
The son is not trying to change his clothes
He clutches it tighter
Damn he's a fighter
I need to get inside your

Resisting, persisting your current ensemble
Insisting you want to keep it on til'
It goes out of style and becomes old school cool, hey

I'm just gonna take your coat off real slick

Now I feel further away from the goal

The Sun doesn't go on the offense though
She talks real slow and she talks real gentle
Rays shining
Brilliance blinding
The silver lining
The son stops whining
You're such a good boy I made your favorite treat
But you gotta get changed so we can go eat
The coat comes off
The son complies
The Sun won the bet on both of these guys
