Thank you for stopping by my site.
I've lived in Tokyo, Singapore, Honolulu, and California.
I make music on my Korg X50, ROLI Seaboard, Akai MPC, and turntables.
I'm heavily influenced by old and new school hip hop, rap rock, alternative
rock, Japanese pop, British pop, American pop, and of course artists such as
Linkin Park and MC Lars.
I hope my music to be optimistic, thought provoking, funny, a little bit
nerdy, and always made by paws, not prompts.
As a collector and enthusiast, I'm a huge fan of many genres. My thoughts are that even if you don't typically listen to a certain genre, it's still worth listening to the best examples the genre has to offer. You may learn something that opens your mind. I believe the appreciation of music can be both about the music itself or its historical context. That said, my favorite genres are hip-hop, pop, and rock.
I spent a lot of my high school days scouring the local used record shops looking for rare music and good deals. Later on I was able to find rarities on eBay and Discogs. Each method has its ups and down. I love being able to meticulously browse and find anything online but nothing beats the thrill of flipping through records for that one rare treasure. I love to talk about my collection both on my site and on my video series Digging Tracks.
