This was a single I specifically bought for track 2, No Airplay. I actually owned a separate Gone Till November single that had a track called No Airplay (Men In Blue). For some reason, I had the knowledge that the No Airplay track on this single was different, especially because the back cover indicated that Canibus was featured, who is absent in the No Airplay (Men In Blue) version.
This is one of my favorite remixes of all time. I already loved Gone Till November, but a more upbeat remix with R. Kelly? Almost any remix R. Kelly's on is golden and this is no exception. The version of this track on this single is the one with the third verse by Wyclef and Canibus. There are other versions of this track that only have 2 verses that fade out after the last chorus. The third verse is short and switches up the instrumental and almost sounds like it was added as an afterthought.
This track is basically a remix of Apocalypse from Wyclef's first solo album, The Carnival. The chorus is different but has similar themes. There is another version of this track called No Airplay (Men In Blue) without Canibus that has more similarities with Apocalypse.
In this version, Wyclef is on verse 1 while Manhunt is on verse 2 and Canibus is on verse 3. The chorus is also by Youssou N'Dour, although uncredited on this single.
This is an instrumental of track 1.
This is an instrumental of track 2.
This is a remix of Gone Till November that is probably more popular than the original album version. This is the version of the track used in the music video and Wyclef continues to perform live. Compared to the album version the intro lyrics are slightly different (he dedicates the record Gone Till November rather than The Carnival) and the verses are poppier.
