This is one of two 12" singles that were released for the Life soundtrack. This single features 3 songs and 2 of the 3 songs are different versions of tracks actually on the soundtrack.
Side A features What Goes Around by Khadejia and Marie Antoinette. This is the only track that actually appears on the album.
Side B is more interesting. It features two tracks by City High. The first is What Would You Do? (Hustler's Remix) which is a remix of their popular single with alternate vocals. The second is Wake Up Everybody/25 to Life which is similar to the track 25 to Life by Xzibit, Juvenile, Nature, Ja Rule, & Reptile (more on that here) with the same instrumental and completely different lyrics.
From what I can hear, this identical to the track featured on the album.
This is the instrumental version.
This is the acappella version with no noticeable differences.
This is a remix of City High's popular single What Would You do?. It is identical to what is also known as the What Would You Do? (Hip Hop Mix) The vocals are completely redone with different verse lyrics, although some of it resembles the original song. The chorus features the same lyrics but has a different melody. The latter part of the song features ad libs by Wyclef Jean.
This is the instrumental of the remix.
This is the acappella version of the remix.
This is the City High version of 25 to Life. The instrumental is similar to the original version with a few differences. This version is a completely different track that is sung and has no rap verses.
In this version, City High sings "Wake up everybody" which sounds a lot like the sample used in the original version and it is possibly taken from this recording. Wyclef Jean also does ad libs throughout the track and vaguely resembles the vocal sample in the original version with variations of "The judge gave me 25 to life."
This is the instrumental version. Although it is very similar to the instrumental version of the original version performed by rappers, this one has a few differences. The City High version has more strings and does not have the vocal sample, "For every rhyme I write, it's 25 to life."
